It is my honor and privilege to announce formally that I am running for South Carolina Governor in 2010. With the Governor Sanford scandal. and even some people not happy with Congressman Joe Wilson's outburst, we need good leaders in South Carolina Politics. We need a new governor.

Governor Sanford will not be running as his time is up. Other candidates have announced candidacy.

I will be happy to run and help South Carolina. Therefore, I am pleased to announce I am running for South Carolina governor effective immediately and will run in the next election.

I will be running as a Republican.
